3 Days Left to Submit a Workshop Proposal for the 2017 Texas CASA Conference!
There are just three days left to submit a proposal to present a workshop at this year’s conference – don’t miss your chance to share your expertise with more than 700 CASA volunteers, staff and board members, and stakeholders in the child welfare community from across the state!
This year’s conference will take place at the Galveston Island Convention Center from October 19-21, and will bring together more than 700 CASA volunteers, staff and board members, and other members of the child welfare community, from across the state. This year, we will be exploring the theme: Setting Our Course.
Setting Our Course is about moving the child welfare system and the CASA network in the right direction to create better futures for Texas’ children. Texas CASA is seeking proposals that reflect the best thinking in the field, and are informed by theory, research and practice, as well as cognizant of issues of the child welfare system, child development, trauma, diversity and inclusion.
