2018 Children’s & Adults’ Mental Health Awareness Creative Arts Contest

The Texas System of Care has announced the opening of the 2018 Children’s and Adults’ Mental Health Awareness Creative Arts Contest! This year’s theme is “Why Mental Health Matters to Me” and the contest deadline is March 15, 2018.

The contest is open to all Texas students in elementary, middle and high school; as well as adults. This year’s categories include poster art, writing, video and photography. Winners in each age group and category will receive special prizes and have their work recognized in public galleries, including one at the State Capitol from April 30 to May 7.

The 2017 Children’s Mental Health Awareness Creative Arts Contest brought in a record number 187 submissions from talented artists across the state. Winning entries may be viewed on the Texas System of Care website.
