Texas CASA is hosting a New Recruiter Orientation from July 12-13 in Austin to share resources, tools and proven methods for volunteer recruitment, and to give new recruiters the chance to network and get hands-on assistance and recommendations from the Texas CASA Recruitment and Retention team. This orientation is intended for anyone in your CASA program who has recruiter responsibilities and has been with your program for a year or less. This event will be held at the Texas CASA office (1501 W. Anderson Lane, Austin, TX 78757).
THURSDAY, July 12, 7:00 P.M. – MEET & GREET
Arrive in Austin and mix and mingle with fellow recruiters over dinner hosted by Recruitment and Retention Officer Dennise Jackson and Recruitment Coaches Eleanor Johnson and Sherri Gideon. Enjoy an evening of networking and “mind-setting.” Dinner will be provided, and all dietary restrictions and preferences will be honored.
FRIDAY, July 13, 9:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. – NEW RECRUITER ORIENTATION
This half-day workshop at the Texas CASA office will help you and other fellow new recruiters reach and connect with the most qualified candidates. This will be a fast-paced day packed with proven recruiting strategies and successful tools and tactics that you can put to work immediately.
We will limit the number of participants in order to keep it intimate and fast paced. Lunch will be provided, but you are responsible for your own travel and hotel.
We hope you’ll join us as we kick off what will be an amazing year for the CASA community in Texas! If you would like to attend, or if you’d like more information, please contact Dennise Jackson at firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than Monday, July 9.
