DFPS recently released its foster care needs assessment report, which provides important information showing foster care capacity broken down by Community Based Care catchment areas. The data in the report enable analysis and understanding of the sufficiency of placement capacity and types of residential capacity in the 17 identified catchment areas. This is designed to help these regions identify and plan for capacity building needs.
