Back-to-School Reminders from The Children’s Commission

The new school year has begun, and CASA volunteers have the opportunity to make a concrete difference in their CASA child’s education. The Children’s Commission recently released a resource letter delving into important reminders related to school-based advocacy for children and youth in foster care when it comes to:

  • who makes education-related decisions,
  • the importance of school stability,
  • roles and responsibilities, and
  • local points of contact.

Read the resource letter.
