August had the highest number of nominations so far with 33! CASA of Tarrant County had an amazing 11 nominations in August, and is currently tied for second place with Dallas CASA. CASA of Titus, Camp and Morris Counties is only three nominations behind Tarrant County, and CASA of the Highland Lakes Area is still in the lead.
We are in the last month of the contest, so let’s keep this momentum going! Take advantage of the social media posts below, and the nominate cards in the Statewide Marketing Campaign Toolkit, and continue to ask everyone you know including your current volunteers if they know anyone who is ready and willing to speak up for a child in foster care. If they say yes, simply have them fill out the nominate form on NominateACASA.org. Be sure they enter your program information so you can get a point for their nomination.
To help you spread the word, we’ve created 15-second and 30-second social media posts that direct your followers to NominateACASA.org to nominate someone they think will make a great CASA volunteer.

If every member of the CASA network successfully recruited one friend to become a CASA volunteer, we could reach our goal of an advocate for every child who needs one. So, what are you waiting for? Get nominating, spread the word about the contest, and give your CASA program the chance to win a special prize, too!
