CFE Team Trains Community-Based Care Provider & Stakeholders in Wichita Falls

2INgage, the Community-Based Care provider in Region 2, hosted Child Protective Services stakeholders for a Collaborative Family Engagement (CFE) Training on May 29, 2019, in Wichita Falls. The training was presented by Texas CASA CFE Director Candice Dosman and CFE Coach Leslie Cocke.

The CFE Model is being implemented by Child Advocates – CASA of Red River and CPS in Wichita Falls this year, and has seen early success collaborating and connecting children in care to their natural support systems. 2INgage child advocates and specialists have joined the CFE teams to fully engage in the CFE process. Other CASA programs, along with their CPS counterparts in Region 2, will eventually be implementing this model. 2INgage Director of Community Engagement Randy Neff and Executive Director of Child Advocates – CASA of Red River Laura Grimsinger were also at the training to welcome everyone.

As Community-Based Care rolls out across the state, Texas CASA is excited about the opportunity to work with providers like 2INgage to further embed CFE and keep more children and families connected!
