We are thrilled to share that the Online Core Advocacy Skills Training (OCAST) e-learning course has been updated and the new version is now live on our learning center!
OCAST is an interactive e-learning course focused on demystifying how a case moves through the child welfare system, with modules taking learners through each legal stage of a case. This easy-to-navigate updated version features vibrant, colorful photos throughout for a visually engaging learning experience. New content pieces have been woven throughout the course to emphasize additional best practices and the importance of strong family engagement to our advocacy.
Whether you’re a CASA community member, child welfare partner, or just plain curious about how it all works – we hope you’ll check it out!
