DFPS has directed CPS caseworkers across the state to resume seeing children in person for face-to-face monthly contact, unless a court order is in place prohibiting such contact. Caseworkers will be using personal protective equipment and maintaining social distancing, will be transparent with questions related to their personal health, and will submit to temperature scans.
Visits with children with primary/complex medical needs will continue to be completed virtually unless there is a safety concern. For more information, see the DFPS announcement.
