Texas CASA provides timely media release templates that local CASA programs can use to raise awareness for CASA in their communities. These templates focus on specific events or holidays that programs can leverage around recruitment. We are currently in the process of updating all of our past monthly media release templates to be evergreen and in line with our current messaging.
This month’s media release is a call for new volunteers to advocate for children and families during COVID-19, with an emphasis on your program’s safety practices.

NOTE: Be sure to update all highlighted areas in the template. Use the DFPS Data Book to pull statewide and local statistics as needed.
Also, consider including a relevant photo when you are submitting the media release to your local media. Browse our full library of stock photos of children.
