DFPS Releases Kinship Care Report

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) recently released a report on the Relative and Other Designated Caregiver Program (RODC). The report also reveals a decline in disruptions and a slight improvement in time to permanency. There were 21,700 non-foster kinship placements which ended in FYTD 21; of these 1,843 (8.49%) kinship placements experienced a disruption.
