Texas CASA Welcomes 3 New Board Members

We recently welcomed three new members to our Board of Directors: Angela Dunlap, Brad Robbins and Jason Waldie.

“We are excited to have Angela, Brad and Jason as the newest members of our governing board,” said Vicki Spriggs, Texas CASA CEO. “Each of them has a wealth of knowledge and passion for serving and supporting their communities. We’re honored that they’ve chosen to bring their talents and leadership to Texas CASA.”

Meet our new board members below!

Angela K. Dunlap, CPA

Angela Dunlap is an audit partner with BKD CPAs & Advisors where she regularly provides financial statement audit services to a variety of government, higher education and not-for-profit organizations. She has over 30 years of accounting and auditing experience and is a licensed CPA in Texas. She served 8 years as a board member and treasurer of Arms Wide Adoption Services and is a former board member of Rainbow Days Inc. Angela has a passion for serving youth in a variety of capacities. She is a graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and a graduate of the University of Dallas, Texas, with an MBA.

Brad Robbins

Brad Robbins is the retired CEO and co-founder of Baker Robbins & Company (now HBR Consulting), an international technology strategy and implementation consulting firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and his MBA from Tulane University. Brad served for 18 years on the board of Child Advocates, Inc. in Houston, chairing most of the standing committees as well as serving on the Executive Committee and as Board Chair. He also volunteered as guardian ad litem for several years along with his wife, Mary. He and Mary live in Houston, and have four sons and two granddaughters.

Jason Waldie

Jason Waldie is a Deals Partner in PwC’s Transaction Services Group, based in Dallas, Texas, where he leads their Greater Texas Capital Markets Accounting Advisory practice and sits on their national Leadership Team. Jason has more than 22 years of experience advising on technical accounting and accessing the capital markets. He returned to Texas after spending three years in New York and seven years in London, two of which he spent in PwC’s National Office in SEC Services.

Jason is a husband to an amazing wife Allie and they are blessed with three kids Anna (7), Matt (10), and John (11) whom he enjoys traveling with and participating in their many activities, including coaching the children’s sports team. Jason is also an avid golfer and a huge fan of the Aggies.
