Registration is now open for the Volunteer Coaching and Advocacy trainings! The focus for this training is to develop strength-based supervisory skills. Our guest presenter is Cynthia Lietz, PhD, LCSW, the developer of the Strength-Based Supervision model that we will use to guide us. The two trainings offered are geared towards folks who have two years or less at their CASA program. Our goal is to give newer supervisors tools to strengthen supervisory skills and provide resources to help them lead their volunteers to become strong advocates. We are offering the training twice. The first will be a day and a half in-person training on May 23 and May 24 at the Dallas CASA office. The second option will be a two-part online training June 15 and 16. This condensed version is for those who cannot join the in-person training. Capacity is limited for both training opportunities.
This is the first in-person VCA training since 2019 so we are excited to be together again and hope you will join us!
