It is with great pride that we announce the promotions of Brandi Goen to Director of Grants Management and Ashley Berman to Grants Management Specialist II (VOCA).
Brandi began by serving as a CASA volunteer in 2018 and joined the Texas CASA team shortly after. Since then, she has shown natural talents to problem solve, ascertain complex grant regulations and establish strong relationships throughout the network. She says, “I am excited and so grateful to be able to serve the network in this new role as we continue to navigate the highs and lows that come with the ever-changing system we all work within. I do not take this new responsibility lightly and am committed to putting the needs of the network first. I have enjoyed getting to know the network over the past three years and look forward to many more years to come.”
Ashley began working with Texas CASA in 2021. She experienced the difference a CASA volunteer can make when she was in foster care as an adolescent and was thrilled to join the cause. Her commitment to serving local CASA programs as a means to helping volunteers is ever-present in her day-to-day work. She is smart, hardworking and unwavering in her dedication to the mission of CASA.
We are thrilled to be able to promote both Brandi and Ashley to fill the department vacancies and look forward to long careers with each at Texas CASA!
