Announcing Regional Trainings for New Pre-Service Curriculum
The Texas CASA Pre-Service Volunteer Curriculum and Facilitation Guide is in full-swing of production! This fully Texas-specific version brings updated perspective and approaches to our work. The curriculum, guide, and an e-learning reading course will be released on our website in early September. Each program will also receive two printed binder copies by mail in early October.
Additionally, Texas CASA will be hosting regional trainings for facilitators. Registration is now open for the first regional Pre-Service Curriculum Facilitator’s Training, taking place on Sept. 24-25 on South Padre Island. The next regional trainings will take place in or near Lubbock, Dallas, Houston and Central Texas, with dates and locations being finalized soon.
Be aware that registration for this training is open to the Southern and Coastal Regions only until Aug. 28, 2018. After that, registration will be open to All Regions.
To allow for in-depth work, each training is limited to 30 participants, or two per program.
Check out the event agenda below. For more details on the training and hotel, visit the event’s page.
