Texas CASA wants to ensure that you and the other CASA staff, board members and volunteers across the state have access to the training resources you need whenever and wherever you need them. We are now offering a combination of in-person and online trainings with the goal of providing you with the most up-to-date and innovative tools and resources in the way that works best for you. Read about our in-person and online training offerings below.
This year, in addition to continuing our on-demand training model, Texas CASA will be offering scheduled trainings for executive directors, program directors, volunteer supervisors, trainers, board members and more. We will be sending out times and exact locations as soon as we are able, as well as links to register.
We know that no two local programs in the CASA network are the same – they all have different strengths and face different challenges. That’s why Texas CASA is again offering you the opportunity to request facilitators from the CASA College training team to present a customized training for your program or region that is tailored to fit your unique needs. For more information on the available training modules and to apply to bring a CASA College training to your program, view the CASA College On-Demand Trainings Application.
NOTE: One of our department goals for the new Fiscal Year is to enhance the CASA College On-Demand Training Menu by increasing the number of trainings we offer as well as expanding our topics. Stay tuned for more information, and in the meantime, please continue to use the training application above.
