The 2019 Texas CASA Conference: 30 Year Jubilee will take place Oct. 24-26 in Galveston at the Galveston Island Convention Center at The San Luis Resort.

We have compiled and answered conference FAQs to help you start your conference planning.

When does registration open?
Registration is now closed!
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds will be granted if cancelled before registration closes on Sept. 24, or when the event reaches capacity. No refunds will be granted after registration closes, no exceptions. You can, however, substitute someone else for your registration.
Do I need to select my workshops during registration?
Yes – Attendees must select their conference schedule during the online registration process. You will register for each session, and the sessions you select will be the ones you attend onsite. Registration will be required to enter.
What about group registration?
Attendees must still select their conference schedule during the online registration process during group registration. The person registering everyone will need to select workshops for each person. Once they are registered, attendees can modify their schedule as long as workshops are not at capacity. Groups are encouraged to use our selection form  to help with the registration process.
Are meals included in the registration cost?

The following meals are included with your registration purchase:

  • Thursday: Afternoon snack break
  • Friday: Morning & afternoon snack breaks, gala dinner

Helpful tips prior to registration:

  • Inform your bank of the large purchase you are about to make with your credit card;
  • If you have Texas CASA Conference fees in your FY 2019 CVC or FY 2019 VOCA budgets, please be sure to pay for these fees prior to August 31 for CVC and September 30 for VOCA;
  • Have a unique email address ready for each registrant when registering a group of people, as well as their session preferences;
  • Be aware that each person will get their own individual email confirmation at the email address provided; and
  • If you “opt out” of Cvent (our registration system) you will not get updates or reminders regarding the conference or future Texas CASA trainings.

For our anniversary of 30
We’re pulling out the stops.
Feeding the body and soul
And making mouths drop.

What is the Wellness Lounge?
This year we will be offering two versions of the Wellness Lounge. The other space encourages attendees to talk and connect with others about their sessions in a relaxing setting.
What about the VIA Suite?
New this year is the VIA Suite – a space just for volunteer advocates. Volunteers will need to visit the suite to pick up their appreciation gift. Snacks and other surprises will be available throughout the conference.
