Over the last few months, Texas CASA has solicited legislative priority input from the CASA network and surveyed program Executive Directors and Program Directors. This input was used as a basis to develop legislative priorities for the upcoming 2019 Legislative Session.
On June 28, 2018, the Texas CASA Board of Directors approved the Legislative Priorities for the 86th Legislature.
Note that the listed funding priority reflects an exceptional item funding request that Texas CASA submitted to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission in April of this year.
