In the effort to assist CASA programs in growing their social media presence, Texas CASA has developed a February 2019 social media calendar with suggested Facebook and Twitter content, complete with accompanying photos and links. This calendar features a variety of generalized content, such as motivational quotes, recruitment messaging, volunteer spotlights and statewide statistics. Depending on your CASA program’s needs, you can use the calendar content as-is, adapt it with your program’s specific statistics, or refer to it for inspiration for creating your own content.
When using the social media calendar, please be mindful that everything currently in red brackets [ ] needs to be customized by your CASA program before it is posted.
In addition to the social media calendar, we recently added Instagram post images and copy, including animated posts, and new Facebook post images and copy to the Statewide Marketing Campaign Toolkit. Simply download the images and copy and paste the text. You can incorporate them into the social media calendar or use them anytime throughout the year. Feel free to adapt the text to fit your program.
