Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS) is hosting its 36th Annual Conference on Services to Youth and Families from June 25-28 in Houston. The event brings together stakeholders in youth services from across Texas to collaborate on best practices, receive training and support, learn from each other and ultimately strengthen services to youth.
The conference will offer the opportunity for professionals to learn from and alongside youth throughout the three-day event. Attendees will participate in dynamic, engaging and collaborative sessions to build concrete skills, learn what’s on the cutting edge in youth services, earn 16+ CEUs and explore how their talents can contribute to the future of Texas’ youth.
Featured speakers include NFL running back and motivational speaker Spencer Tillman, child advocate and neuroscience expert Frank Kros, youth trafficking survivor Alyssa Beck, Houston Police Department Chief Art Acevedo, and spoken word artist Marlon Lizama. Topics that will be covered include youth homelessness, trafficking, juvenile justice, elevating youth voice, and much more. There is also a full day of pre-conference institutes that provide the opportunity for in-depth training on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and additional CEU hours.
