Are you interested in recruiting more CASA volunteers from faith communities? Then Clergy, CASA and Community is for you! We are looking for CASA programs interested in becoming part of the Clergy, CASA and Community year-long pilot program.
Developed by the Clergy and CASA Advisory Council, a leadership team comprised of faith community leaders, DFPS and CASA program staff from around the state, this innovative model will help CASA programs engage faith communities in a relational and sustainable way.
Three CASA programs from around the state will be selected for this opportunity. If selected as a pilot site, you will receive guidebooks, promotional materials, training, and ongoing support and coaching from Texas CASA’s faith-based liaison, as well as other experts in faith-based partnerships.
If your program is interested in participating as a pilot site, please complete the application by Sept. 30, 2020.
Clergy, CASA and Community pilots will launch in Winter 2021 and will work collaboratively with Texas CASA over the next year to develop a plan to successfully recruit from faith communities in your area.
