We are excited to welcome Kristy Smith as our new Senior Grants Management Specialist! She specializes in grant writing and creating quality improvement plans for organizations. Kristy is currently responsible for the administration of Crime Victims Compensation (CVC) and CVC Growth Funds awards, while providing training and technical assistance to local CASA programs.
Kristy is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her optimistic attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and pursue their dreams. She has 14 years of experience working with nonprofits of public service that promote and prioritize children and family well-being and stability. Kristy is enthusiastic about diversity advocacy and the importance of increasing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) awareness through education, training and policy work. She is a native of Austin, Texas, and a first-generation college graduate which adds to her mission and purpose in the human service sector.
