DESCRIPTION:We are so excited for the upcoming in-person STAR training in April in Dallas! This Strength-Based Supervision Training for Volunteer Retention is developed specifically for you\, the advocate supervisors. We are happy to host this training and provide a space for networking and learning for just you and your peers.   \n\n\n\nWhen: Thursday\, April 16th (10am – 4pm) & Friday\, April 17th (9am – 12pm)   \n\n\n\nWhere: Dallas CASA | 2757 Swiss Ave\, Dallas\, TX 75204 \n\n\n\nThe agenda will focus on volunteer supervision and retention and include: the 3 functions of supervision\, parallel process\, crisis vs. in-depth supervision\, critical thinking\, facilitation skills and much more.
