Participants will learn how to effectively approach prisons and navigate their systems, inform parents and guardians about available resources, and reinforce existing CASA methodologies to strengthen family bonds. The course emphasizes practical methods for building connections, addressing challenges, and creating supportive environments for children impacted by parental incarceration. Designed for CASA program staff and volunteers, this training ensures participants are prepared to advocate for the best interest of children whose families are involved in the criminal justice system.
