La revisi\u00f3n de Sunset es una oportunidad para que la Comisi\u00f3n de Asesoramiento de Sunset y la Legislatura de Texas eval\u00faen los programas, las reglas, las operaciones y el \u00e9xito de una agencia estatal en el cumplimiento de su misi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como para abordar cualquier problema identificado. Como parte de este proceso, cada agencia estatal bajo revisi\u00f3n presenta una autoevaluaci\u00f3n que identifica los principales desaf\u00edos, lo que ayuda a dar forma a la revisi\u00f3n de la Legislatura. Puede leer el informe completo de autoevaluaci\u00f3n de HHSC.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunset.texas.gov\/public\/uploads\/2025-09\/Health%20and%20Human%20Services%20Commission%20Self-Evaluation%20Report_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>&nbsp;y el informe de autoevaluaci\u00f3n completo de DFPS&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfps.texas.gov\/About_DFPS\/Reports_and_Presentations\/Agencywide\/documents\/2025\/DFPS_SunsetReview_2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aqu\u00ed<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La HHSC ha identificado problemas persistentes en el servicio al cliente y en los sistemas que retrasan el acceso de las familias a la cobertura m\u00e9dica, mientras que el DFPS ha se\u00f1alado dificultades en el acceso a los servicios de salud mental y conductual para ni\u00f1os, retrasos y problemas de calidad en las investigaciones de CPS y el acceso a los expedientes, as\u00ed como problemas continuos con la atenci\u00f3n comunitaria. Durante los pr\u00f3ximos dos a\u00f1os, la Comisi\u00f3n Sunset evaluar\u00e1 estas agencias y elaborar\u00e1 recomendaciones antes de los 90<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Sesi\u00f3n Legislativa en 2027.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Basado en la retroalimentaci\u00f3n del programa CASA local, el equipo de Pol\u00edtica P\u00fablica de Texas CASA desarroll\u00f3 las siguientes recomendaciones enfocadas en el DFPS. La retroalimentaci\u00f3n recopilada de los programas CASA locales se alinea en gran medida con los desaf\u00edos identificados por el propio DFPS. Estas recomendaciones apoyan un mejor uso de la autoridad y los recursos existentes para mejorar la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas, la coordinaci\u00f3n y los resultados para los ni\u00f1os y las familias bajo la tutela del DFPS y del Contratista de Continuo de Fuente \u00danica (SSCC).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las recomendaciones de Texas CASA son:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aclarar y fortalecer la comprensi\u00f3n del papel legal de CASA en los casos\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fortalecer la consistencia y la aplicaci\u00f3n de la supervisi\u00f3n de DFPS a los proveedores de atenci\u00f3n comunitaria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aumente la transparencia y la calidad en las investigaciones y el acceso a los registros de CPS\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abordar la rotaci\u00f3n de personal a trav\u00e9s de capacitaci\u00f3n, cultura y apoyo\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expandir y estabilizar la capacidad de colocaci\u00f3n a
