Join us in Austin on February 8- 9, 2018, for the second Texas CASA Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit! This event is your program’s opportunity to enhance your recruitment and awareness efforts and network with other recruiters from around the state.

Refund Policy: Substitutions will be allowed, but no refunds will be given for cancellations. To substitute a registrant, contact Communications & Awareness Specialist Lindsey Lee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hotels: Texas CASA has secured a room block at the Holiday Inn Express Suites Austin NW starting at $129/night + tax. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel directly at 512-346-5555 or 1-800-465-4329 (toll-free) and asking for group block 2018 Volunteer Summit, or by making an online reservation. Reservations must be made by January 18, 2018.

Pre-Summit Prep Work
One of the goals of the Summit is for recruiters to have the opportunity to share best practices and resources. Please email Recruitment & Retention Officer Dennise Jackson (email@example.com) your CASA program’s current job description for a recruiter or the position of the person who does most of the recruiting for your program.
Thursday, Feb. 8 | Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit Kickoff
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Summit kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking and poetry event. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar along with poetry from local artists, networking, a little friendly competition and prizes galore!
Friday, Feb. 9 | Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
At this interactive learning experience, participants will learn about current trends, best practices and tactics to recruit top talent. In addition to bringing in external experts in volunteer recruitment to share their successes, programs and recommendations, Texas CASA will also unveil the new nominate campaign and statewide contest along with an exciting new social media strategy for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.
