JOIN US FOR VIRTUAL CASA DAY AT THE CAPITOL ON FEBRUARY 16-17, 2021!
We may not be able to meet in person at the Texas Capitol, but we still have big plans for Capitol Day and making sure the 87th Legislature understands the important work of CASA in Texas! We are still having #CASAattheCapitol, but it will look different this year.
On February 16 and 17, local CASA programs will schedule virtual and telephone meetings with their legislators and send them emails to communicate our mission and our legislative priorities for the 87th Session. In the mornings of each of those days we will gather briefly to review our priorities, honor our volunteers and answer last-minute questions about meetings and social media postings. We will also be making our presence felt on social media—posting videos, putting frames on our social media images, tagging our legislators, and making our presence felt across the state and beyond!
