CSE-IT Training to Learn the Signs of Commercial Sexual Exploitation

Event Details

Texas CASA will be offering a training for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation-Identification Tool (CSE-IT) screening tool on June 7, from 9 a.m.-noon Central. The CSE-IT tool, combined with increased awareness and understanding of commercial sexual exploitation, enhances users’ ability to identify children and youth who have experienced this abuse.

CSE-IT User Training

This training prepares participants to use the CSE-IT in their work settings. It includes an orientation to the tool, a description of CSE-IT indicators, scoring instructions and possible next steps. To use the CSE-IT well, users also need foundational knowledge, which the training also provides – including an understanding of commercial sexual exploitation, an understanding of trauma, and a review of helpful approaches and engagement skills.

Please register at the link below, and note that registration will be limited to 20 attendees. This training is open for CASA staff only.
