Texas CASA is excited to announce spring dates for our virtual workshop for program trainers! The hands-on workshop will focus on applying the principles of adult learning and participant-centered facilitation to pre-service training, building and strengthening a community of practice among trainers across the state, and skill-building around the more nuanced pieces of pre-service training content. The bulk of the training will be dedicated to interactive facilitation practice, with participants facilitating short pieces of pre-service training for their peers in a supportive and constructive environment, as well as discussing how to approach more complex aspects of the content most effectively with an emphasis on utilizing best practices of adult learning.
