Texas CASA is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of the CASA network, those we serve and the public as a whole. We have been carefully following the news, recommendations and expertise of health officials as the situation with COVID-19 has continued to evolve.
Based on current recommendations, Texas CASA has decided to cancel the in-person Western Public Policy Regional Training and make the event a virtual training via our online conferencing system Zoom. The training will still begin at 10 a.m. with a break period for lunch. Everyone is encouraged to use webcams if available so that it can continue to be as interactive as possible and meet the needs of the group from a learning perspective.
Additionally, all of the training materials will be sent electronically to the group prior to the event.
