Spotlight on Preventing Exploitation of Youth in Care

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Texas Regional Office, will be hosting a series of trainings for the child welfare system to take place across Texas over the course of 2015. Invited to attend are stakeholders in the child welfare system such as Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) employees, CASA staff and volunteers, foster care agencies and families, juvenile justice staff, judges, attorneys for parents and children, therapists, educators and other service providers for children in care.

Current confirmed course locations include:

  • Austin on February 19,
  • Lubbock on March 26, and
  • Fort Bend on April 17.

New locations and dates will continually be added to the course website. Seats are limited.
