New Recruiter Orientation May 4-5 in Austin
Texas CASA is hosting a New Recruiter Orientation from May 4-5 in Austin to share resources, tools and proven methods for volunteer recruitment, and to give new recruiters the chance to network and get hands-on assistance and recommendations from the Texas CASA Recruitment and Retention Team. This orientation is intended for volunteer recruiters, Executive Directors, and anyone else in your CASA program who has recruiter responsibilities and has been with your program for a year or less.
If you missed the inaugural Volunteer Power Unleashed Summit in February 2016, now is your chance to receive many of the resources and tools that CASA programs have been utilizing ever since!
Thursday, May 4, 6:00 p.m. | Meet & Greet
Arrive in Austin and mix and mingle with fellow recruiters over a delicious meal at the Texas CASA office with Dennise Jackson, Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Officer, and Volunteer Specialists Dave Anderson and Eleanor Johnson. Enjoy an evening of networking and “mind-setting” fun!
Friday, May 5, 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | New Recruiter Orientation
This half-day workshop at the Texas CASA office will help you and other fellow new recruiters reach and connect with the most qualified candidates. This will be a fast-paced day packed with proven recruiting strategies, and successful tools and tactics that you can put to work immediately.
We will limit the number of participants in order to keep it intimate and fast paced. Lunch will be provided, and any dietary restrictions will be honored. You are responsible for your own travel and hotel.
If you would like to attend, or if you’d like more information, please contact Dave Anderson at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
