New Recruiter Orientation Sept. 15-16 in Austin
Texas CASA is hosting a New Recruiter Orientation from Sept. 15-16 in Austin to share resources, tools and proven methods for volunteer recruitment, and to give new recruiters the chance to network and get hands-on assistance and recommendations from the Texas CASA Recruitment and Retention Team. This orientation is intended for anyone in your CASA program who has recruiter responsibilities and has been with your program for a year or less.
Thursday, Sept. 15, 7:00 p.m. – Meet & Greet
Arrive in Austin and mix and mingle with fellow recruiters over dinner hosted by Dennise Jackson, Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Officer, at the home of Texas CASA Consultant Dave Anderson, Volunteer Specialist. Enjoy an evening of networking and “mind-setting” fun in a home atmosphere – and a delicious, home-cooked meal!*
*All dietary restrictions and preferences will be honored.
Friday, Sept. 16, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. – New Recruiter Orientation
This half-day workshop at the Texas CASA office will help you and other fellow new recruiters reach and connect with the most qualified candidates. This will be a fast-paced day packed with proven recruiting strategies, and successful tools and tactics that you can put to work immediately.
We will limit the number of participants in order to keep it intimate and fast paced. Lunch will be provided, but you are responsible for your own travel and hotel.
We hope you’ll join us as we kick off what will be an amazing year for the CASA community in Texas! If you would like to attend, or if you’d like more information, please contact Dave Anderson at email@example.com.
