CFE Team Presented at Colorado CASA Conference

Candice was honored to present at the Colorado CASA Conference on September 21 on behalf of the Texas CASA Team. Collaborative Family Engagement (CFE) is a statewide approach CASA programs and their child welfare partners use in Texas. While everyone knows about and believes in the importance of keeping children connected to their families and other loved ones, sometimes we get stuck in the work of carrying this through. With a focus on collaboration, and engagement, CASA volunteers and staff can move beyond the searching work to meaningful connection-informed advocacy. In this workshop, participants learned CFE activities and strategies that can be used with their child welfare partners, and children they are appointed to. Thank you to Colorado CASA for the opportunity to share this vital information.
