New Features on the Statewide Awareness Campaign Landing Page

We’re thrilled to announce that the enhanced HazteACASA.org page is now live! Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

BecomeACASA.org is the landing page for all statewide The CASA Effect ads. From this page, visitors can easily find their local CASA program and follow the next steps to become a volunteer. The recent updates are designed to help potential volunteers reach your program more quickly and efficiently, while also providing more upfront information about the role and impact of a CASA volunteer.

Getting candidates to you faster:

We are getting rid of the emailed forms! Now, when visitors come to BecomeACASA.org they will type in their county (more on this below), and your program information will pop up, along with a button that takes them directly to your website. The person will then follow the volunteer protocol on your website, whether that is to submit a form, sign up for an information session, complete an application or contact you via email. All of the volunteer buttons for your individual programs link to the page on your website that best gives these instructions to a potential volunteer.

Provide additional information on the role of a volunteer:

We’ve implemented an AI chatbot where website visitors can type questions they might have about CASA or being a CASA volunteer and get real-time answers. The answers provided by the chatbot only come from trusted sources designated by Texas CASA, such as the Texas CASA website, local CASA program websites, the National CASA website, the DFPS website, other child welfare organization websites and additional documents provided by Texas CASA. No confidential information was shared in providing the sources or will be shared as part of any answer on the chatbot.

Locating the correct program:

The enhanced search feature asks visitors to type in their county, but we know this isn’t what always happens, and some users may type in their city. So, the new search allows for both! For example, if someone types in “Austin”, the search results will show any program with Austin as part of its counties served, or if it’s included in their address.

I encourage you to explore the new page, HazteACASA.org, and to double-check your address, especially if you’ve moved office locations within the last five years. If you see any changes that need to be made to your program’s information, please email Lindsey Lee at llee@texascasa.org.

We hope you find these changes helpful in your recruitment process!
