Mary Hightower, Grants Management Specialist
Mary, a retired Texas CASA grants employee, has returned to work part-time to assist with volunteer travel funds. Mary has sixteen years of grant management experience beginning at the Office of the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, working with victim services grants, and then serving as Senior Grants Management Specialist at Texas CASA for ten years, working with CVC state funds. Mary was raised in Dallas but has lived in Austin most of her life, including her time at the University of Texas. Mary and her husband, Bob, have three grown children and have recently moved to a rural area outside the city limits. In her free time, Mary enjoys traveling, square-dancing and learning to play the piano.
