TEXAS CASA has three open positions

The Learning and Education Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining learning resources and compelling course content. The goal of this position is to: manage curriculum projects, host trainings and events, manage CASA College and online learning for Texas CASA, facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in effective in-person and virtual training, and support all teams at Texas CASA in the execution of training.

The Social Media Intern is someone who wants to build their portfolio while learning skills and gaining valuable, practical experience that will give them an edge when entering the job market. The ideal intern is one with a passion for helping others and who is looking for an opportunity to improve their social media management skills and gain hands-on experience in communications and public relations. Interns will participate in a mandatory orientation but will have the ability to work flexible hours up to 20 hours a week.

The Accounting and Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the Finance Department and organization, on whole, in Financial, Accounting, and Human Resources functions.  They will manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable; participate in HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, and benefit plans’ open enrollment processes.

RFP: Growth strategist

Texas CASA seeks an individual who has a proven track record developing growth strategies and plans resulting in growth for partnering organizations and utilizing strong strategic and problem‐solving expertise to evaluate and structure how to unlock growth within the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) network by building capacity to serve 100% of children in the foster care system with CASA volunteers. Specifically, the Strategist will work with targeted CASA programs to identify barriers, gaps and challenges to volunteer recruitment and retention and coach programs to implement strategies and new opportunities custom to each program.

The Strategist will create strategies in collaboration with Texas CASA’s Network Services team to expand and grow the CASA network’s volunteer pool and children served. The Strategist must accomplish these aims through relationships with leadership and staff within CASA programs, Texas CASA staff, CASA network and key community stakeholders. Your proposal should provide an overview of how you would approach a growth strategy/plan across the state over the next two years.

We are looking for a Child Advocacy Specialist (CAS) who can supervise volunteers as they advocate for the most vulnerable children in Travis County. As a CAS, you will guide and supervise a team of volunteer advocates by providing guidance, coaching and feedback as they advocate for the best interest of the children to whom they are assigned. Marketing & Communications Manager - The primary role of the Marketing & Communications Manager is to support the growth and awareness of the public’s knowledge and understanding about CASA of Collin County’s mission, expand the organization’s visibility locally, and develop and realize methods to ensure a strong influx of volunteers and/or donor prospects. Freestone and Limestone County PROGRAM SEEKS Part-Time Volunteer Supervisor

The newly formed CASA of Freestone and Limestone Counties, also referred to as Bi-Stone CASA, is seeking a part-time Volunteer Supervisor to Coordinate the delivery of direct advocacy services to assigned foster children through the management of volunteer advocates.

Qualifications: Experience with the supervision or coordination of volunteers preferred. Prior experience in the provision of case management or advocacy services with children required. Prior volunteer experience required. Clear criminal background required.
