Since she began volunteering for CASA of Tarrant County seven years ago, 35-year-old Sarah Hopp has been an inspirational child advocate who supports kids in the foster care system. Serving for CASA of Tarrant County’s Young Professional Council, Hopp helps fundraise for the program as well as encourages others to become advocates for children in foster care.
According to CASA of Tarrant County, this area has the third-highest number of confirmed abuse and/or neglect in Texas. Hopp is passionate about working to alleviate obstacles kids in foster care may go through, as well as educating others on how big of a problem this is in Tarrant County.
