We are excited to announce that Texas CASA’s 2022 Impact Report: Learning from Lived Experiences is now available! This report serves as an overview of Texas CASA’s services and dedication brought by CASA volunteers throughout 2022.
As the youth and families who have experienced foster care are the ones who know what is going right and what is going wrong within the system, in the past year Texas CASA has been working to shift our focus towards Learning from Lived Experiences. In the courtroom, at the Capitol and on conference stages, we are amplifying the voices of youth, allowing us to better understand how we can all help achieve a positive future for Texas children. Across the state, 9,590 CASA volunteers provided 361,517 hours of service for children and families.
