Texas CASA’s Mission

Texas CASA’s mission is to support local CASA programs with training, community awareness, resources and public policy to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families in Texas.

Your support helps us:

• Develop and deploy innovative programs that support the CASA network to navigate change and the issues that come with it: high caseworker turnover, insufficient community resources and lack of foster and adoptive placements. 
• Advocate for effective policies that support children and families experiencing the child welfare system.
• Equip local CASA program staff and volunteers with educational, mental health, safety and physical health resources and trauma-informed training.
• Facilitate relationships between local CASA programs, child welfare partners and state decision makers.
• Nurture collaboration between child welfare partners and families involved in the system through Collaborative Family Engagement.
