The CASA Story
Texas CASA’s story began 30 years ago in 1989 when our organization was founded by Jane Quentan Piper. To celebrate and honor our history, we have created a visual timeline of major events within the CASA network in Texas as well as in the child welfare system. But our story isn’t complete without you!
Share your CASA story, and help us complete a visual timeline of our network.
Texas CASA has developed two blogs, The CASA Voice and Inside CASA, to keep the statewide CASA network and our dedicated supporters informed, inspired and up to date. Both publications consists of an online blog and regular email updates so you can access new information at the right time and in the way that works best for you. Use the links below to start exploring the blogs, and please sign up for whichever publication(s) fits your role with CASA so that you can receive the email announcements.
The CASA Voice is your go-to source for spotlights on the life-changing work that Texas CASA, the 71 local CASA volunteer advocacy programs, our child welfare partners, sponsors and supporters are doing to ensure a safe, positive future for all Texas children.
