Legal Rights & Responsibilities: Addressing Barriers to Permanency
Building relationships with your local bar is an ongoing responsibility. Texas CASA partnered with an attorney ad litem to present on Legal Rights & Responsibilities Addressing Barriers to Permanency at the 2025 Texas BAR Advanced Child Protection Law Conference. The STAR team in collaboration with CFE and CASA ACTs bring you an adapted version of the legal presentation to support CASA Advocacy for Addressing Barriers to Permanency. The accompanying Handouts and Slides are the same used for the law conference and are available for use with your program staff and volunteers.
