The CASA Effect
Our newest campaign, The CASA Effect is a play on The Butterfly Effect, a well-known phenomenon that describes how a minor event today might have a major impact at a later time and location. This is a beautiful metaphor to describe the seemingly small, yet ultimately meaningful and memorable impact of a CASA.
By leveraging this concept and renaming it the “CASA effect,” we demonstrate to potential volunteers that being an advocate for children in foster care is an attainable way for them to make a big difference.

Campaign Materials for Local Programs
The materials below are available for your use for The CASA Effect campaign. We offer customized versions with your program logo and website for billboards, rack cards, newspaper/print ads and pop-up banners. Printing for all materials is at your own expense. You may also download the materials and use them as they are. Standard materials use the generic CASA logo and direct people to BecomeACASA.org.
Online & Broadcast TV Video
The PSA is available in 30-second and 15-second versions in English and Spanish. There are .mov files for broadcast TV and .mp4 files for online videos, which include multiple sizes for standard or vertical viewing on social media stories. Video files cannot be customized.
Radio & Audio Files
Radio & audio files are available in 30-second and 15-second versions in English and Spanish in both .mp3 and .wav formatting. Radio & audio files cannot be customized.
Print Ads
Newspaper and print ads can customized to the size you need and with your logo and website. Depending on your ad size, different design options may be available. To customize a print ad, please complete the form linked above or at the button below and we will send you the options available based on your ad size.
Images
Two static images/photos are available in different sizes. You can use these for different social platforms or print materials.
Social Media Copy
A few social media headlines and body copy are available for your use or inspiration.
Stickers
The artwork for The CASA Effect stickers is available for you to print your own stickers. Texas CASA purchased stickers through Sticker Mule. If you have seen the ones handed out at our 2024 conference, they were die-cut stickers at 3″x3″.
Billboards
Billboards are available in two designs in the following sizes: 14’x48′, 12’x24′, 10’x24′, 10.5’x22′. Billboards in the toolkit are built to LAMAR Advertising specs and are print ready with the CASA logo and BecomeACASA.org website. If you need a custom size or specs, or would like to customize one or more billboards with your program logo and website, please complete the form linked above or at the button below.
Rack Cards
The 4″x9″ rack card is a great leave behind at organizations and businesses in your community. The double-sided rack card has one side in English and one side in Spanish. Rack cards can be customized with your program logo and website. To receive your customized artwork, please complete the form linked above or at the button below. Programs are responsible for printing.
Pop-up Banners
Pop-up banners are available in two designs and come in the standard size of 33″x81″. The artwork is available at the button below and can be customized with your program’s logo and website, or you may have them printed as is. You will need to work with your local printer to have the artwork printed and assembled into a pop-up banner.
Coloring Sheet
A one-page coloring sheet is available as a template in Canva. Use the document as is or substitute in your program information. Click the button below to go to the Canva template. You must have a Canva Pro or Nonprofit account to access the template.
Bookmark
The 2″x6″ bookmark is the perfect handout at libraries, schools, and other events. The bookmark contains a bleed and is set for a professional printer. Bookmarks cannot be customized but direct audiences to BecomeACASA.org where they can select their county from a dropdown menu.
Zoom Backgrounds
Show off your The CASA Effect spirit with a Zoom background. Download them at the button below or access the Canva template to customize them with your program’s logo. Images 8 and 9 are The CASA Effect backgrounds. You must have a Canva Pro or Nonprofit account to access the template.
