Texas CASA Welcomes Program Specialist
We are excited to welcome Linda Coronado as our new Program Specialist!
Linda first joined Amarillo Area CASA in 2007 as a Volunteer Case Manager. After a few years, she took on the position of Program Director and served as Interim Executive Director twice before taking on the Executive Director position in 2000. She has 26 years’ experience working in the nonprofit sector and as a victim’s advocate. Working as a victim’s advocate has been challenging, yet definitely rewarding.
Linda considers herself a West Texas girl, raised in Hereford since the age of 4 and moving to Amarillo in 2007. Coming from a small town like Hereford, she developed a strong desire to volunteer in her church and community. She has three beautiful daughters and seven grandchildren. When she’s not spending time with her family, Linda enjoys spending time in church, traveling, or simply staying home reading a good book or binge watching a good series.
Join us in welcoming Linda!
