Texas Center for Justice & Equity Virtual Legal Clinics
Texas Center for Justice & Equity will be hosting their second of three free virtual legal clinics on Wednesday, July 19, at 7:00 p.m. These reunification clinics aim to address questions about a new Texas law which helps parents who have had their custody terminated by CPS, including formerly incarcerated parents, regain the rights to their children. These sessions will help determine eligibility for the new process and include potential next steps. Note that legal advice will not be provided at this clinic, but participants can sign up for future intake with legal and advocacy organizations in attendance.
