Upcoming Art of Facilitation for Pre-Service Training Workshop
Texas CASA will be offering a virtual Art of Facilitation for Pre-Service Training workshop beginning September 12th, 2023. This training is designed to introduce participants to the foundations of engaging, learning-centered facilitation, to explore creative and effective ideas for how to bring pre-service content to life and to build relationships across the CASA training community.
During the hands-on component of this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to practice these skills by facilitating a short activity from pre-service training (detailed information on this will be shared after registration!)
Please note that participants must attend the dates for their cohort in full in order to be eligible for certification as required by National CASA standards. There are several different cohorts to choose from — all cohorts will meet together on the first two days of training, and, as you’ll see below, we will reconvene in smaller groups with different dates for the third/final day of training.
Additionally, because of the limited space in this hands-on certification workshop, Texas CASA asks that each program register no more than two staff members.
