Upcoming STAR Monthly Zooms
Please join STAR monthly Zoom on Monday, September 30, 12-1 p.m., for Part 2 of our Advocating for Dual-Status Youth series when we will hear from the juvenile justice system stakeholders. We will spend the hour hearing from a juvenile court judge, probation officers, the DFPS juvenile liaison’s office and an attorney representing youth in juvenile court. This hour will be jam-packed with practical information about working with the juvenile justice system stakeholders and how to best support youth as they navigate the system. We hope you will bring your questions and lunch and join us for this panel discussion!
The STAR Team will be changing things up in October with a Tuesday, October 8th, 12-1pm STAR Zoom with special guest Marco Quesada, Division Administrator for Master Investigations and drug testing expert. Marco Quesada will present on the fundamentals of drug testing and reporting, drug testing on children, and different drugs such as Cannibus, CBD and Delta 8. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn from and ask our guest your drug testing and reporting questions.
