Upcoming Children’s Commission Webinar: Supporting School-Aged Children in Care
The Children’s Commission will host a webinar on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. entitled “Supporting School Aged Children in Care.” The panel will explore the role of DFPS education specialists and how to best utilize them to ensure that the educational needs of child clients are met.
Panelists will include the following DFPS Education Specialists:
- Felicia Penn, State Office, moderator;
- Jennifer Heimbach, Region 6B;
- Kathy Thurman, Region 4; and
- Keri Louviere, Region 5.
