A recording of the August 22, 2025 webinar entitled “Trial Skills for Child Welfare Cases: Jury Trial Basics” and PowerPoint presentation are now available on the Children’s Commission’s On-Demand Training and MCLE webpage. Children’s Commission Trial Skills Training faculty members Hon. Gary Coley (ret.), Of Counsel at Cherry Johnson Siegmund and James, and Jack Sigman, Attorney at Castagna & Scott, PLLC provided practice tips on how to prepare for a jury trial in a child welfare case.

The State Bar of Texas approved 1.0 hours of MCLE for the webinar, and the Texas Board of Legal Specialization approved 1.0 hours for certification and recertification in the specialty fields of Child Welfare and Family Law.
