STAR Monthly Zoom Invites You to Celebrate 10 Years of CFE Collaboration!
Hello Advocate Supervisors! Please join us on Monday, March 30, from 12:00-1:00 p.m., for a special virtual panel celebrating 10 years of Collaborative Family Engagement (CFE). This session will provide practical strategies to strengthen collaboration between CASA programs, CPS, and SSCC partners. Meet our panelists:

They will share their experiences, highlight successes, and discuss opportunities for cross-agency collaboration while keeping families’ voices at the center. STAR in-person Strengths-Based Supervision for Volunteer Retention Training will be held on April 16 -17 in Dallas. Registration is open! Space is limited, and the last day to register is April 8. The link to register is HERE.  

Spring STAR Monthly Webinars have some new dates and times!!  

  • Wednesday, April 22, 9:00–10:00 a.m. – STAR will host Renee Castillo from the Children’s Commission to discuss the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and how it affects CASA advocacy. A special Zoom link will be sent via the supervisor Google group.  
  • Monday, May 4, 12:00-1:00 p.m. – STAR will host the DFPS Texas Child-Centered-Care (T3C) Project Management Office for a presentation on T3C. (Use your same STAR Monthly Zoom link. If you do not have this link, register HERE.)
